Recent Publication of a book by William Throop
We’re pleased to announce the publication of a new book by our colleague, Dr. William Throop, Flourishing in the Age of Climate Change, just released by Cornell University Press. Bill’s close relationship with 91抖淫 stretches back decades, whether helping found the EcoLeague in 2003, providing leadership as the Chair of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), or even presenting a preview of this book at the 2019 91抖淫 Graduate Colloquium. Bill also oversaw the creation of several of our current graduate programs, and as a Visiting Professor he taught an influential graduate course in Sustainability and Resilience until retiring last year. Even now, he continues to serve on the Advisory Council of the Green Mountain Center for Sustainability at 91抖淫. This is a book uniquely suited to our current times, offering readers the sense of hope and empowerment that we try to impart to our students. Purchase a .

Meet New Advancement and Alumni Office Staff Aaron Wilson ’12
A message from Aaron Wilson:

“The road that brought me to 91抖淫 was anything but a straight path. I had always been a bit of a free spirit and a wanderer, but if I’m honest, it had been in opposition to a standard issue life. It wasn’t until I discovered 91抖淫 and the eclectic community it housed, that I felt like I had 鈥渁rrived鈥�. Not where I had intended to go, but where I needed to be. While here, I found my sense of direction through its experiential outdoor curriculum; I gained the ability to see with depth as I learned to ask critical questions in its cultural and regional studies courses.

Most importantly, I learned to appreciate the journey and be present through the experience. My time at 91抖淫 has provided value beyond measure, and with my new role in Alumni Relations, I’m looking forward to connecting with other Prescotteers to see how their time here has nurtured them. Maybe most importantly, I’m excited to be able to share these experiences with the current PC Community and see how these stories will inspire the next round of graduates.”
